Nintendo revealed a few months ago that the Wii U would be getting a couple system updates to improve the console’s overall stability and to introduce new features, including the long-awaited Virtual Console. Today, the first update has arrived.
According to Nintendo, this update only brings “further improvements to overall system stability,” while another update planned for April will add “new features and further improvements to the user experience.” This larger feature update, which Nintendo previously announced for the spring, will most likely deliver faster load times between menus and Virtual Console support, offering a selection of NES and SNES games for download.
