Is Infinity Ward Developing For The Steam-Focused Piston PC?

It looks like Infinity Ward is working with the Valve-backed Xi3 Piston PC introduced earlier year at CES. The photo above was recently shared on the game developer's Facebook page, showing us an Infinity Ward branded version of the hardware.

The photo shows the Piston sitting on top of what could be one of Xi3's SLID3 hard drives, and came with a caption simply reading "game development." In addition, a similar photo was shared through Infinity Ward's Twitter account, reading "what's this?"

Xi3 revealed that the modular Piston PC, which is based on their X7A series, was being designed around Steam's living room-focused Big Picture mode earlier this year. Along with the reveal, Valve announced that they had invested an undisclosed amount in Xi3.

What could Infinity Ward be working on for the modular gaming rig? A future version of Call of Duty Online perhaps? There's really no telling until Infinity Ward comes out with an official announcement, so we'll just have to wait and see. In the meantime, you can share all of your hopes and dreams in the comments below!
