Sony Thinks The PS3 Can Sustain Alongside The PS4

After the birth of the PlayStation 3, the PS2 remained quite active on the market for years, and was only recently put to bed once and for all. Mr. Yoshida had some thoughts as to whether or not the PS3 will have a lifeline similar to the PS2 once the PS4 is on the market, and he seemed pretty confident that there was still some juice left in the PS3, for both developers and consumers.

With games like "The Last of Us," "Beyond," and (hopefully) "The Last Guardian" still slated to come out, the PS3's future still seems bright, but it's inevitable that it will eventually get overshadowed by its big brother, and, like so many consoles before it, meet its final end. For the millions of PS3 owners out there, it's just a matter of time, but it seems like that end might be further off than you'd think.
