'Rayman Legends' For Wii U Getting Bonus Challenge Mode In April

In an attempt to make amends for the (second) "Rayman Legends" delay, Ubisoft has revealed that the upcoming Wii U version of the game will be getting an online challenge mode in April. Better yet, the download will be completely free via the eShop.

Whether or not the new Challenge mode is enough to make up for the "Rayman Legends" delay is up to you. However, the challenge mode does seem promising, offering new challenges "weekly and daily," each coming with their own leaderboard. It's also the first time Rayman has gone online.

Get all the details straight from Sr. Game Manager Michael Micholic and Creative Director Michel Ancel in the video above.
