CD Projekt Celebrates ‘Witcher 3′ Announcement With Sale On First Two Games

Also, CD Projekt Red would like for you to know that they’ve sold a lot of “Witcher” games.

Announcing this morning that the two “Witcher” titles have sold a combined 5 million copies (with a healthy amount going to the Xbox 360 version of “The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings Enhanced Edition”), the studio has announced that through February 8, they’ll be discounting the price on Geralt’s saga.

Offering both the Enhanced Editions of the first and second games digitally via GOG and Steam, you can pick up “The Witcher 2″ for $9.99 and “The Witcher” for $4.99. The Xbox 360 port of “The Witcher 2″ will run you a little more money at $29.99.

The PC versions might be the way to go, honestly. While the Enhanced Edition for the 360 largely carried over the story and content (with extras) from the original, interface issues and overall performance quirks made it maybe the least optimal way to play the game.
