'The Simpson: Tapped Out' Gets All Cuddly With A Valentine's Day Update

Love is in the air! "The Simpsons Tapped Out" may have just recently closed out the holiday celebrations, but a new update to EA's addictive free-to-play game has the residents of Springfield celebrating Valentine's Day. Get ready to start collecting those hearts!

Like Tapped Out's other themed updates, Valentine's Day is introducing limited time buildings, characters and quests. Buildings include Phineas Q. Butterfat’s, Howard’s Flowers, and Sir Putt-A-Lots, which is obviously a mini-golf course. The only new character is Shauna, but Homer and Marge will be cuddling it up in the Golf Castle, while Lisa embarks on mission to share eco-friendly valentines and Bart looks for love. The update also brings new decorations like rose bushes and the I-Choo-Choo-Choose You Train.

The new currency used to unlock these limited time items is Hearts, for obvious reasons. In order to earn them you'll have to rely on friends visiting your Springfield, tapping on your homes and vice versa.

As always, the update is free, so head to the app store and get that download started.
