The First Episode Of 'Assasin's Creed 3: Tyranny Of George Washington' Expansion Due February 19

"The Infamy," first installment the three-part story, hits all platforms in a little under a month, giving us a chance to see exactly how a ticked-off Assassin would deal with an evil American monarch.

From Ubisoft:

In the first episode of the Tyranny of King Washington series, our hero, Ratonhnhaké:ton, awakens from an unsettling dream to find that, despite his efforts to deliver justice in the newly-founded United States of America, a new king has been crowned – George Washington. The Infamy will take gamers through the beginning of the journey to dethrone this new king.

This Animus side story has me more excited about "Assassin's Creed 3" than anything in the lackluster campaign, mostly because there's a clear villain and stakes for Connor this time out (as opposed to the mishmash of morally ambiguous Templars who bum you out about why they didn't have to die in each post-assassination cutscene). Plus, dig the key art below: that Washington is obviously someone who drinks wine from the skulls of his enemies and is incapable of speaking in anything but a gloriously over-the-top sneer.

"The Infamy" will be priced at $9.99/800 MS Points, which is a little pricey, but you can get it bundled in with the "AC3" season pass which is $30/2400 Points (that includes the previously-released multiplayer content).
