Wish You Were Here: GamePrint Creates These ‘Final Fantasy VII’ Postcard-style Posters

The U.K. print maker commemorates Square Enix’s PSOne classic with a series of five posters.

The posters are part of GamePrint’s “Final Destinations” series of prints based on locations from “FFVII,” including the dusty metropolis of Midgard, the gaming pleasure land of Gold Saucer, and the peaceful, natural idyll of Cosmo Canyon.

The style is very much in line with classic destination postcards, right down to the fonts (for the first three, at least). The effect is spoiled somewhat by the orientation: ideally, these should be landscape and not portrait-style images, and the overall aesthetic might have been improved by a white border.

GamePrint is limiting the five posters in the series to a run of 100 per size, with three sizes available and all prints signed and numbered by the artist.

You can check out the complete series on the GamePrint site.
