‘Fire Emblem: Awakening’ Nintendo 3DS Bundle Revealed

When “Fire Emblem: Awakening” hits store shelves on February 4th it won’t be alone. Nintendo has revealed a special limited edition, blue 3DS complete with stylish Fire Emblem artwork emblazoned on the lid. Oh yea, it also comes with the game pre-installed.

In addition to all of that gaming goodness, the promotional handheld will also come with a 4GB SD card so you’ll have plenty of storage for all of the downloadable maps Awakening is set to get on a weekly basis.

For those you out of the loop, this is the first Fire Emblem entry for Nintendo 3DS, and follows the story of Lord Chrom and his growing army of companions as they band together to save the world from a rising evil. In line with previous titles in the series, player actions will have lasting effects, as characters lost in battle are gone forever.

The “Fire Emblem: Awakening” 3DS Bundle will set interested buyers back $199.99, which isn’t a bad deal considering the extras you’ll get. As far as downloadable maps go, a free map will available at launch for a limited time. After that, new maps are going to cost you, though pricing hasn’t been revealed.
