Indie Music Game 'Bollywood Wannabe' Makes An Attractive, Catchy Pitch

Indie developer Chrysaor Studio gives an interesting concept a some wonderful sounds and an iffy title.

According the the developer's About page, Chrysaor Studio is made up solely of Ubisoft/Frima/Longtail (hey, my old job!) veteran Catherine Levesque. She's crafted a story-based rhythm game/platformer hybrid that seems to owe a little to games like "Gitaroo Man" while giving the whole thing a Bollywood beat.

And that's really the hook, isn't it: no one's doing much with Bollywood in the games space which is a shame since it's one of the largest film markets in the world (and the music is often really, really catchy). "Bollywood Wannabe" will feature tracks from Gupsy Aujla, G-Deep, Mr. P, Nishant Mudgal, Bob Mann, Riffat Sultana, and Shivangi Bhayana, and more artists across ten levels.

It's available now on the PC, although there's also a demo if you want to try before you buy.
