This Portable SNES Is Perfect For Post-Apocalyptic Gaming

We've seen plenty of classic consoles recreated as portables, but this portable Super Nintendo created by Reddit user robotairz has got to be one of the most durable.

Apparently robotairz created this disaster-ready SNES last year, but just recently got around to sharing it with the masses. The SNES itself has been chopped up quite a bit to fit in the protective case. Not only does this make room for a series of Li-po batteries, it also helps the console stay cool.

The greatest feature has to be the attached screen – just imagine heading out on a camping trip and busting this bad boy out while everyone else is stuck roasting boring marshmallows. Even better, it would be a great way to kill some time while your hold-up on a rooftop hiding from zombies. In fact, robotairz estimates you could get up to 10 hours of play time on the go. If the batteries do happen to run out of juice, there's also the option of just plugging it in to a standard outlet.
