‘Retro City Rampage’ Hitting XBLA Next Week

Joystiq revealed today that the top-down “GTA” spoof by way of 8-bit history is coming to Xbox LIVE Arcade on January 2nd. They’re getting the news from the game’s creator, Brian Provinciano, who also said that the WiiWare and PS3 EU/Asia versions would be on the way sometime in January as well.

The 360 version is receiving some polish and patches not available to the game when it launched on the PS3 and PC back in October. That build, as reviewed by our own Jason Cipriano, offered a little something for everyone: “To some, Retro City Rampage may be a bit rough around the edges, but to others, it’s the kind of game that brings a smile to your face whenever you play it.”
