Atlus Announces 'Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Devil Hackers' For The U.S.

The "lost" techno dungeon crawler finally makes its way to the U.S. next spring on the 3DS.

Released back in August for Japanese audiences, the Saturn/PS1-era RPG is coming to the U.S. sometime next year from publisher Atlus. The sequel to "Devil Summoner," "Soul Hackers" is set in a utopian city where a group of hackers battles it out with a secret society hiding a terrible secret.

According to Siliconera, we can expect a new opening cinematic from Statelight, the team behind the intro video for "Persona 2: Innocent Sin."

Also, listen to that music--I kind of love it. Composers Toshiko Tasaki, Shoji Meguro, Tsukasa Masuko are credited with the soundtrack and I'd love to hear more of it. Japanese gamers received the soundtrack as a preorder bonus, so here's hoping we might get something similar over here.
