One-Eyed Assassin Deathstroke Joins The ‘Injustice’ Roster

The latest playable character to join the DC Comics fighting game lineup probably isn’t a big surprise if you’re somewhat familiar with the company’s roster of heavy hitting villains. It’s Deathstroke: The Terminator, the invention of comic writer Marv Wolfman and George Pérez back in 1980, a spinning whirlwind of murder who spent much of his early career tormenting the Teen Titans.

From the looks of the new design, Neatherrealm has replaced the scale armor and blue accents with something bulkier and black. You can see the trailer featuring Deathstroke here. I’m picking up a little bit of Scorpion’s fighting style and stance from Deathstroke based on what we see here which isn’t a bad match at all.

Interesting fact: Deathstroke (aka Slade Wilson) served as the inspiration for Marvel’s own merc Deadpool (Wade Wilson) in the early 90’s.
