ToeJam & Earl Collection Crash Lands On PSN And XBLA This Week!

Back in October Sega announced that ToeJam & Earl would be arriving on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this month and the day has finally arrived. The new Sega Vintage Collection, which lands tomorrow, includes the original “ToeJam & Earl” alongside the less-successful sequel, “ToeJam & Earl in Panic on Funkotron”

The re-release will be downloadable on November 6th through PlayStation Network and November 7th via Xbox Live costing roughly $4.99 on both platforms. Though “ToeJam & Earl” was released as a Nintendo Wii Virtual Console title a few years ago, many fans were disappointed that the game did not feature an online co-op option. Thankfully, it seems Sega has taken these frustrations into consideration, as the new Vintage Collection does include full online co-op capabilities.

Here’s the game overview from the Xbox Marketplace:

“Join aliens ToeJam and Earl in their adventures across space in classic titles ToeJam & Earl™ and ToeJam & Earl in Panic on Funkotron™! This classic journey of two funky aliens has been updated for release on Xbox LIVE Arcade! Earn all new achievements, complete challenging new game trials, and take on zany Earthlings with a friend in two player co-op across Xbox LIVE!”
