‘Resident Evil: Retribution’ Dated For DVD and Blu-ray In December

As the site’s Resident Evil apologist (they’re really fun, honest), Resident Evil: Retribution was a bit of a letdown in a series that sets the narrative bar pretty low to start. It was a more is less situation, piling on plots, circumstances, and characters from the games while not ever gelling into the straightforward, fun action spectacles of the previous entries, making the crazy, massive in scope ending feel like all the more a letdown.

I’ll be considering it at greater length when Sony Pictures Home Video releases Paul Thomas Anderson’s latest on DVD and Blu-ray December 21st, but until then, you can check out the special features coming to the DVD, Blu-ray, and 3D Blu.
