GameStop Gets Exclusive ‘300’ King Leonidas DLC For ‘God of War: Ascension’ Pre-Orders

“THIS IS SPARTA!!!” What if you could play “God of War: Ascension” as King Leonidas from Frank Miller’s “300” instead of Kratos? Well, thanks to an exclusive pre-order incentive you’ll be able to do just that. Gamers who pre-order “God of War: Ascension” from GameStop will get the King Leonidas “300” Armor and Spear DLC for free.

SCEA has partnered with Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment to bring King Leonidas to life for the first time ever in God of War Ascension’s multiplayer as depicted by Gerard Butler in the blockbuster film “300.” Though the film is already about 6 years old, it’s one of the cooler crossover DLC packs we’ve ever heard of. What could be better than donning King Leonidas’s red cape, iconic helmet, and armor? Yeah, we don’t have an answer for that either.

The PlayStation Blog has all the details and it looks like the Spartan armor and spear aren’t the only thing a GameStop pre-order will hook you up with. Players who purchase the game early will also receive “an exclusive double-sided God of War: Ascension poster” that measures 22” x 28”.
