'The Walking Dead' Episode Five Out In December With Huge Retail Release

If you've been sitting on the fence about picking up The Walking Dead for the past few months, or just one of those people who need their gratification all at once, Telltale is sweetening the retail release with a Gamestop exclusive that'll also provide a healthy introduction to the comic that inspired the bleak adventure game.

Coming to the PS3 and 360 in December, the Collector's Edition will include the currently unreleased fifth and final episode of The Walking Dead on disc along with the previous four episodes. But that's not all: it'll also come with the 1,000-plus page Walking Dead Compendium, the massive Image Comics release which collects the first 48 issues of the series (for those of you following the show, that should take you up through the first three seasons of AMC's adaptation). The version of the Compendium being included here is exclusive to this release, and according to Telltale, will not be sold separately.

The Collector's Edition will retail for $69.99, but if you want to opt for the game only, a standard edition will be available for $29.99.
