Conversations that I didn’t think would happen, but might totally happen in the near future:
Kid #1: “I call NASCAR racer Danica Patrick!”
Kid #2: “No, I called IndyCar Series contender Danica Patrick! You be Knuckles!”
Kid #3: “Never!”
SEGA and Hot Wheels go nuts with the whole synergy thing, through a real life pro race car driver into the next Sonic racing game.
The video is from Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, which is coming to consoles and handhelds this winter from SEGA. It’s all part of a deal with toymaker Mattel to get Patrick into the game with her Hot Wheels-branded, transforming car (It’s a car! It’s a boat! It’s a jet!).
They’re calling it the “Danicar.”
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed will be available on November 18th for the 360, PS3, and Wii U, with a Vita and 3DS release later this winter.
