Ohio State University Marching Band Performs Video Game Tribute During Halftime!

Gamers who attended the Ohio State vs Nebraska football game over the weekend got a pleasant surprise during halftime. To much applause, the university's marching band took to the field and delivered what is probably the most impressive video game-themed halftime show ever witnessed, and you can watch it all go down after the break!

Several iconic video games were featured during the all-brass tribute, including Super Mario, Tetris, Pokemon, Zelda and Halo. However, the most impressive synchronized display put on by the OSU Marching Band has to be when, in unison, the entire band aligned and created what looks like Link's horse running across the field. Just watch the video and see for yourself:

Isn't that amazing?! The NFL should really take this performance into consideration for their future halftime shows. I don't know about you, but I'm really getting tired of watching Super Bowl halftime shows that pull together an increasingly random group of celebrities to get on stage to sing a song.
