Ubisoft Confirms ‘Rayman Legends’ Wii U Delay

In a move that seemingly came out of nowhere, Ubisoft has confirmed that their highly-anticipated Wii U exclusive “Rayman Legends” will no longer be a day one title available during Nintendo’s Wii U launch. Instead, the platformer’s release date has been pushed into 2013.

“Rayman Legends will launch worldwide in the first quarter of 2013,” Ubisoft said in a statement to VideoGamer.com.

“We’re happy that fans are excited about the game, and we are taking the time to make sure we deliver a game that lives up to and hopefully exceeds their expectations. We’ll have more details to share soon.”

The game was originally scheduled to launch with Nintendo’s Wii U on November 18th in the U.S. Thankfully, Ubisoft’s other launch day titles, which include ZombiU, Assassin’s Creed III and Just Dance 4, are still set to hit shelves alongside the new console.
