Nintendo Confirms 23 Day-One Wii U Launch Titles!

For the past few months it seemed as if we’d never get a definitive answer from Nintendo on which games are actually going to available day-one when the Wii U launches in November. Thankfully, the Big N surprised us all this morning by releasing a list of games confirmed for November 18th and fans will be happy to learn we have 23 titles to choose from.

“We’re making sure that Wii U owners will have great games to play from the moment they open the box, and that a steady stream of fun new games is always on the way,” said Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo of America’s president and COO. “We have something for everyone, from new franchises to creative new approaches to familiar favorites.”

First party titles from Nintendo, such as New Super Mario Bros. U, will be available day-one at launch, along with some surprise third-party heavy-hitters, including Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Check out the full list below!
