The first of the two titles is the web-based The Hobbit: Armies of the Third Age, which is heading into beta today (you can sign up here). This free-to-play, browser-based game puts players in control of warring armies of dwarves, elves, and orcs with playable hero characters in the forms of Bilbo Baggins, Legolas, Thorin, and Gandalf.

On the mobile side, The Hobbit: Kingdoms of Middle-earth will have players building their own kingdoms and going to war with their rivals. No word which devices

Both games are launching sometime this Fall.
