Light Gun Shooter ‘Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles’ Soundtrack On the Way in October

The newest release from Sumthing Else Music Works (they’re handling the Borderlands 2 OST as well as Darksiders II’s soundtrack release) will be Capcom composers Shusaku Uchiyama and Takeshi Miura’s soundtrack for 2009’s Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles.

Both Uchiyama and Miura have been fixtures in the Resident Evil series, the former starting as one of the collaborators on Resident Evil 2 and the later making his series debut with Code Veronica. More recently, Uchiyama worked on the Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City soundtrack which was also released by Sumthing Else here in the U.S.

The Wii light gun shooter, which recently got an HD release for the PlayStation Move, presents the Resident Evil series history through new perspectives of other characters in the RE universe.

You can get the Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles OST on October 9th on disc or digitally through iTunes and Amazon.
