God of War, Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collections Get PS Vita Remote Play Today!

Today Sony revealed that the God of War Collection, along with the Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection are now equipped with Remote Play through the PS Vita! Beginning today, PS3 owners can download an update to these collections that will allow the games to be played on PS Vita wherever you can find a WiFi connection!

From the PlayStation Blog:

Both collections include customizable control options, so you can choose to have the R2 and L2 buttons from your PS3 mapped to PS Vita’s rear touchpad. This is great news because God of War, God of War II, Ico, and Shadow of the Colossus represent some of the most beloved and acclaimed titles in videogaming — and both collections look stunning on PS Vita’s brilliant 5” OLED screen.

Remote Play will also let you use your Vita to check out photos, music and videos stored on your PS3. While it hasn’t been getting the support many gamers had hoped for, Sony is finally taking a step in the right direction. If you haven’t tried it out yet check out this guide for all the info on how to set it up.
