'JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle' Nixing QTEs, Promises Unique Story Mode

New is coming out of Famitsu (via Siliconera) that the upcoming 3D fight game from CyberConnect2 will make a break with their previous anime tie-in titles, skipping QTEs for the storytelling segments.

Quick Time Events have been used prominently in CyberConnect2's Naruto titles and were the primary means of pushing the story forward in this year's Asura's Wrath. The report unfortunately doesn't go into detail on what to expect instead, although I hope it's as odd and outside the box as Asura could be at times.

Still no word on a release date, but I expect we'll be looking forward to this one sometime next year for the PS3.
