'Call of Duty: Black Ops 2' Multiplayer Trailer Is Here!

Yes folks, you read that headline correctly. Activision and Treyarch have just released the first trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's highly anticipated multiplayer. Head past the break for your first look at all of the futuristic weapons, killstreaks and attachments we can expect to see this November!

The first new item we're introduced to looks to be some sort of EMP grenade, completely disabling any combatant that happens to be too close. You can see electricity flowing up the unlucky fellow on the other end and it appears as if he's completely immobilized. Directly after that we're introduced to a new take on the red dot weapon attachment that lets us SEE ENEMIES THROUGH WALLS! It doesn't reveal them completely, instead just revealing a sort of ghost-like outline as they move, but the trailer also confirms it will reveal enemies hidden by smoke. From there, we're introduced to a sort of turret that slows and disorients enemies in it's path – stand behind it and you can blow them away with ease.

Grenades and attachments aren't the only thing revealed during our first look at Black Ops 2 multiplayer. Those crazy little quadricopter drones we've seen so much of also showed up, and yes, we will e able to control them! That said, we'll also be able to shoot them down and it doesn't look like it will take too much effort.

While the flying drone is no doubt cool, Black Ops 2 will also have ground based 'bots for us to play with. More specifically, the A.G.R., a land-based mech that appears to be equipped with machine guns and rockets of some sort. Like the Dragonfire drones, this too is player-controlled.

The trailer begins wrapping up with a look at a bunch of the new guns coming to the battle, along with some remote activated explosives. But don't take my word for it, watch the trailer below!!
