'Ace Attorney' Takes Home the Audience Award at the New York Asian Film Festival

It's been a couple of weeks since the New York Asian Film Festival wrapped, but that's given festival organizers time to tally up the results of their audience poll for viewers' favorite movie. And Takashi Miike's adaptation of the Phoenix Wright series took home the big prize. While I still have my issues with the overall length and pacing of the movie, but overall, it was a fun watch. Plus, I'm guessing the audience was probably packed with fans of the series already, making it an easier sell.

Hopefully, Capcom will be able to capitalize on the attention the film is getting soon-ish so that it can get North American DVD and Blu-ray distribution ASAP.
