‘God of War Saga Collection’ Rumored For August!

On March 12, 2013 Kratos will make his return to PlayStation 3 in God of War: Ascension and this time the lone warrior will have an ally by his side. However, if recent rumors regarding a God of War Saga Collection turn out to be true, we may be seeing the tortured Ghost of Sparta much sooner than we thought.

According to a recent report from Siliconera, an unnamed “retail mole” informed them that a God of War Saga Collection is in the works. No details surrounding the game were shared, but we have yet to see a collection of God of War 1-3 and “Saga” seems like it would be a good fit for such a compilation.

There’s also the possibility that this Saga Collection would compile all of the God of War games, including the PSP titles in some sort of mega digital collection, but nothing can be said for sure as this is still only a rumor at the moment. Thankfully we should know more very soon as the collection is rumored for an August 2012 release.

What hopes and dreams do you have for another God of War collection? Would you prefer a physical collection featuring only console titles, or a digital collection with the whole shebang? Feel free to hit the comments section below and spill your guts!
