Frankenstein and Dracula Get a MOBA Game In Bigpoint's "Universal Monsters Online"

Over 80 years of Universal Pictures monsters smash, bash, and bite in this upcoming game from the studio behind Battlestar Galactica Online.

The biggest question about something like Universal Monsters Online is why hasn't it existed in some shape or form before now? Seriously, a Mad Monster Party homage to Dracula, Frankenstein (well, his monster, anyway), the Wolfman, the Mummy, the Creature from the Black Lagoon, and any other scaly, toothy, shambling monster from the near century of classic creations from the studio in one game?

This should have been a mid-90's fighting game done with clay, easily.

As it stands, Bigpoint is developing this Mobile Battle Arena game, and while it's still early yet, they've sent along screens to whet you appetite for some monster-on-monster combat. Universal Monsters Online will, of course, be free to play, although Bigpoint wouldn't object if you threw some money their way for new characters, skins, and abilities.

You can check out the game on its official site.
