Tiny Block Men Speak In the New “LEGO Batman 2: DC Superheroes” Trailer

Talking LEGOs? Who’d have imagined?

Just after GDC, we brought you word that LEGO Batman 2 would be the first LEGO title to receive full voice acting. Developer Traveler’s Tales decided to make the change based on feedback from young fans of previous LEGO titles who wanted the previously silent characters to have something to say.

Well, this is what the game sounds like.

The cast is a regular who’s who of notable voice actors including Kevin Michael Richardson (ThunderCats, American Dad), Claudia Black (Dragon Age: Origins, Farscape), John Dimaggio (Futurama, Adventure Time), and Tom Kenny (Spongebob Squarepants, Green Lantern: The Animated Series). And if you’re going to hire a voice cast, that’s the one to get, particularly now that many of the heroes and villains of the DCU will be playable in this open world sequel set in Gotham City.

LEGO Batman: DC Superheroes will be available for… well, everything, on June 19th.
