Mr. Kojima smiles for the camera!
Hideo! HIDEO!? HIDEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
You're legally required to yell this whenever you see Hideo Kojima at any kind of event. Fanboy squeals aside, the Father of Metal Gear along with the brilliant brush work artist, Yoji Shinkawa visited UNIQLO in NYC to show off a collection of new T-shirts for the 25th anniversary of Metal Gear, and we were there to catch a few pics (and hopefully not pass out in awe)!
As we talked about earlier, the two flagship UNIQLO stores hosted two short signing sessions with the famed creator and artist, Friday and Saturday. As should be expected, a bunch of Metal Gear enthusiasts quickly lined up and flooded the store with everything from copies of MGS to Z.O.E to original PS3 consoles! In addition to meeting their favorite game director and designer, a couple lucky attendees were entered into a raffle for an autographed limited edition 3DS and PS Vita and 'Metal Gear Solid HD games! Check out a few pics we snapped from the event!

War has changed indeed!
The crowd were definitely in high spirits.
I didn't get this guy's name but I might have a new hero!

It was a pleasure meeting two of my favorite gaming personalities and I wish them all the best for the nest 25 years! Hopefully, Mr. Kojima and Mr. Shinkawa will be able to make it stateside again. Maybe we'll be seeing some sweet Zone of the Enders swag in the future?
