Get All (A Lot) Of Your “Resident Evil” Games With the “Resident Evil 6 Collection”

Capcom offering digital versions of previous RE titles in a platform-specific special editions.

Hey, do you think when you play Resident Evil 6 this October, you’ll get a yen for some of the older entries in the series? Capcom figures you will (in my case, they’re right). Coming day and date with the release of Resident Evil 6 will be the Resident Evil 6 Anthology for the PS3 and the Resident Evil Archives for the 360.

Each release will come with slightly tweaked content, with the PS3, to my mind, getting the substantially better release, substituting Resident Evil: Director’s Cut and RE2 for the 360’s HD remake of Code Veronica X and the Resident Evil: Degeneration movie. Resident Evil 6 will be disc-based while the rest of the content will be digital downloads (available for MSRP $89.99 all together), the full lineups of which you can find below:

Resident Evil 6

Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition

Resident Evil 4 HD

Resident Evil 3: Nemesis

Resident Evil 2

Resident Evil: Director’s Cut

Resident Evil 6

Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition

Resident Evil 4 HD

Resident Evil Code: Veronica X HD

Resident Evil Degeneration (DVD film)

Resident Evil 6 will be available on October 2nd.
