Kingdom Hearts 3D does Hugo and Dumas with the screen and art reveals of two new worlds.
What I’m taking from these screens is that we’ll somehow get Kiefer Sutherland in a Kingdom Hearts game, since The Country of the Musketeers is based on the ’93 movie with Sutherland, Charlie Sheen, and Chris O’Donnell. Wow, one of those guys did come through the 90’s with the career we all thought he would. This world will include Mickey’s longtime foil Peat as the villain, bringing his scruffy swagger to the Kingdom Hearts universe.
Then there’s the setting for The Hunchback of Notre Dame, a story which Disney got a lot of flack for smoothing out into a happy ending back in ’96. A lot of people forget that it had a sequel. Let that sink in: The Hunchback of Notre Dame had a sequel.
You can be really weird sometimes, Disney.
Here are your screens:
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance will be available in North America on July 31st for the 3DS.
