Chris and Leon will be on your game boxes a month and a half earlier than originally announced, Capcom's taking a third stab at its mechs against giant bugs series, with the official reveal of Lost Planet 3, and Devil May Cry gets a new trailer.
First up, the big news: Resident Evil 6 is shifting from its November 20th release date up a few weeks to October 2nd, moving the sequel out of the holiday shopping release window. Now it's up against Aliens: Colonial Marines which is coming from Gearbox a week earlier and Bioshock Infinite which drops on October 16th.
During the event, Capcom also announced that Street Fighter X Tekken for the PS Vita will be getting cross-platform play over Wi-Fi and 3G. It remains to be seen if this is the optimal way for a precision move-based fighter to be played against opponents who might be rocking the latest fighting stick (or at least a heartier gamepad than the one of the Vita).
