The PR team for Gotham City Impostors has sent over news that the PS3 and Xbox Live betas for the game are live and ready for your consumption. If you want to get your gun on in Gotham on PSN, you can simply jump online and find the game and go, while the XBLA release requires signup on this page.
And since it wouldn't be a Gotham City Impostors-related post without a new trailer for the game, the team has sent over the "Simple Math" video, detailing some of the weapons and equipment in the shooter:
If you'll recall, Gotham City Impostors is:
... an original first-person shooter where up to 12 players battle for control of an unhinged Gotham City overrun by impostors inspired by the DC Comics characters Batman and The Joker. Players can engage in deliriously fast paced, uniquely vertical, completely unconventional urban warfare to level up and unlock a mind-boggling array of customization options that let them personalize their Batz or Jokerz Impostor with insane costumes and a huge assortment of traditional and homebrew weaponry, equipment, and perks. Gadgets such as the Glider Rig, Grappling Hook, and Spring Boots give gamers unprecedented mobility options, while support items like bear traps, boomerangs, and body armor open up crazy new tactical options. The game will feature maps and modes inspired by DC Comics’ Batman license.
There's still no official release date on Gotham City Impostors after it slipped from its January spot, but it should be out sometime in March.
