Comic 'Scarygirl' Getting a Platoformer on XBLA, PSN, and PC

Nathan Jurivicius' quirky comic creation is getting a downloadable game through Square Enix.

How's this for odd inspiration for a game: Scarygirl is writer/artist Nathan Jurivicius's comic creation, a patchwork pirate kid with amnesia, looking for the clues to her past. Well, she's getting a game courtesy of Square Enix and we've got the trailer below:

The TikiGames-developed title will be hitting Xbox Live January 18th, PSN January 24th followed by a Games for Windows Live release sometime in early 2012. The release promises 2D/3D co-op platforming action and an original story separate from the comic and planned feature film.
