The "Gears of War" franchise has always had a strong multiplayer component. But what is has lacked is an incentive for playing that multiplayer component. No, fun is apparently not enough. There is a ton of stuff to unlock in "Gears of War 3," from weapon skins to playable characters to weapon-specific executions and mutators which modify the way you play.
