The verdict is still out on whether or not Capcom will be adding new challengers to "Super Street Fighter 4," but "Marvel vs. Capcom 3" received a shipment of new faces in time for Comic-Con International in San Diego this week. Marvel and Capcom contributed two characters apiece, and a group shot of silhouettes indicates that still more reveals await.

Doctor Doom, Super-Skrull, Trish from "Devil May Cry" and Chun-Li will all be present in"MvC3," according to a new post on the Capcom Unity blog. The game isn't due out until Spring 2011, but Capcom wanted to make sure everyone was aware of it and their Friday Comic-Con panel where writer Frank Tieri is scheduled to show up. If you've ever run into him at a comic show before, you'll know that he's a fun one to listen to, and it sounds like a surprise or two could be in the works.

The silhouettes at the end of the "Comic-Con Character Reveals!" trailer are well disguised, but one figure in the lower right-hand corner looks a lot like Viewtiful Joe. Unfortunately, I do not however see shapes that look like Galactus, Dazzler or Hypno-Hustler, all of whom would be wonderful additions, should Capcom decide to draft anyone else.
