More than 10 years after the Dreamcast first appeared, Sega has decided to bring back some of its most successful titles from the console. "Sonic Adventure," along with "Sonic Adventure DX" and "Crazy Taxi" were already mentioned by the ESRB, but an announcement from Sega today confirmed that they'll be the first titles in a new wave of digital re-releases.
"The Dreamcast is fondly remembered by a large community of dedicated fans as a console that was ahead of its time in terms of graphics, quality and online gaming," Sega America and Europe VP of Digital Business Haruki Satomi said in a press release. "There are few things that are more requested from us than making Dreamcast classics available for download in today's digital market place. We’re very excited to begin offering gamers our beloved Dreamcast titles again on the current console systems."
"Sonic Adventure" will be available for download this fall, and the announcement says that both "Sonic Adventure" and "Crazy Taxi" will be available to demo at E3 next week. Once they're up and ready, both games will be downloadable for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
