"Final Fantasy Versus XIII" may be staying behind in Japan when Square Enix arrives at E3 2010 next week, but the company listed "Kingdom Hearts: Re:Coded" and "Final Fantasy XIV" on its roster of titles that will be shown off at the Los Angeles event.
"At this year's E3, Square Enix is proud to showcase its extensive and diverse range of games for everyone, everywhere," Square Enix president and CEO John Yamamoto said in a press release. "With our global network of studios and partnerships with developers around the world, the lineup proves that we are uniquely positioned to lead the interactive entertainment industry with a broad portfolio of market leading franchises, including properties under both Square Enix and Eidos."
"Dungeon Siege 3," which was recently announced, also appeared on the list. "Re:Coded" may have the biggest question mark right hanging over it, however. The Nintendo DS title could be a remake of the Japanese mobile title "Kingdom Hearts: Coded," but it may be another week before we know for for sure. Here are some other games from the announcement to keep an eye out for in L.A.:
• "The 3rd Birthday"
• "Deus Ex: Human Revolution"
• "Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light"
• "Front Mission: Evolved"
• "Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days"
• "Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep"
• "Lara Croft & The Guardian of Light"
• "The Tales of Bearsworth: Chaotic Conflicts"
• "The Tales of Bearsworth: Puzzling Pages"
There's a healthy variety of gaming involved in that package, so SE should have a busy week showing it all off.
