Ubisoft has said that they want to send "Assasin's Creed" to Rome for the series' next title, and unless they just like toying with everyone's expectations, it looks like we could be getting more details quite soon. With just over a month left before E3, they've chosen to taunt their Facebook friends about the Ezio spin-off with an update from the diabolical Animus project mastermind Dr. Vidic.
"It is the time of our rising," a quote credited to Dr. Vidic reads on the "Assassin's Creed" Facebook page. "A new age enters and a great battle looms. Templar destiny is at hand and waiting for you."
That is truly a wasted update if Ubisoft doesn't have an E3 announcement in the rafters to back it up. Assuming that they do, the big question at hand is whether or not it's going to be called "Assassin's Creed 3" or come tagged with a new subtitle, such as "Brotherhood" for instance.
They'll probably make us all happy no matter what the announcement is, just as long as it's not that they're expanding their "Assassin's Creed 2" DRM initiatives.
