‘Call Of Duty: Black Ops’ Settings Revealed

Earlier today, Activision revealed the title of the next “Call of Duty” game. “Call of Duty: Black Ops” is coming on November 9, 2010, but further information was not exactly forthcoming, so we had to look to other sources.

An online retailer in the UK, Game.co.uk, has a product page up for “Call of Duty: Black Ops” which actually gives more information about the game, including some of the locations you’ll be visiting.

“Call of Duty Black Ops is the next instalment [sic] in the thrilling Call of Duty franchise. Packing an amazing singleplayer story that will see you fight across the globe in locations such as Cuba, Vietnam and the Arctic.”

The site went on to detail the focus of the game:

“Now you will witness the birth of the Elite Special Forces and take part in off-the-record missions using unconventional weaponry to get the job done!”

Looks like a Vietnam War-era time line seems more and more likely. Stay tuned as more information dribbles out.
