'Penny Arcade' Creators Hint At PAX East Game Announcement

Penny Arcade

We're more than a year removed from the last episode of "On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness," the downloadable game series based on the the widely popular web-comic, "Penny Arcade." Since "Rain-Slick Episode 2" was released, we've heard nary a peep from the duo at the helm of "Penny Arcade," but it seems like that silence will be coming to an end sooner rather than later. When asked by MTV News about the status of "Rain-Slick Episode 3," Jerry Holkins, the writer of the web-comic, said the following:

"Listen very closely to the announcements at PAX!"

I should clarify the way that quote was delivered. You know that voice fortune tellers use when they're predicting something vague? Yeah, that's how Jerry said it. I'll try to spell it out for you:

"Listen cloooooosely to the annoooooouncements at PAAAAAAAAAAXX!"

PAX East kicks off towards the end of March, so expect to hear more about the video game travails of Gabe and Tycho then.

In the meantime, check out this interview on Splash Page with the Penny Arcade duo talking about their upcoming hardcover book, "The Splendid Magic of Penny Arcade" (Or: "Penny Arcade: Nearly 12 Years of Bullsh--").
