The first of two downloadable content packs will be coming to "Assassin's Creed 2" on January 28th for both PSN and Xbox Live. Titled "Battle of Forli," it'll take place in the town of Forli, a segment of the "Assassin's Creed 2" map that was hardly used in the main campaign. It'll flesh out the story of Caterina Sforza, was rescued by Ezio from near-certain dampening after she became stranded on a rock in the middle of the harbor.
The timing of the DLC pack is a little odd, given that it'll already be a week of big game releases ("Mass Effect 2" and "MAG" are both dropping next Tuesday), but given that "Assassin's Creed 2" was one of the best games of last year, I'm pretty eager to continue climbing the rooftops.
As an added benefit, the price of the content is lower than most DLC packs, at just $3.99 or 320 Microsoft Moon Bucks. No telling how long the content will be, but for that price I'd be fine with a couple hours.
