Bungie Haiti T-shirt

The devastation in Haiti following last week's earthquake probably hasn't escaped you, and if you've got a few dollars in your bank account, you may have been doing some head-scratching in the past few days trying to figure out how you can help. Donating directly to or volunteering for Red Cross efforts is always an option, but if you've been considering a T-shirt or iPhone game purchase, Bungie and AppRelief.com have opened up some donation channels of their own that you may find to be of interest. Bungie even designed a shirt just for the occasion.

"In addition to the special shirt, from now until the end of February, we will be donating all of Bungie's profits from the Bungie Store directly to the American Red Cross," a post on Bungie.net reads. If you had your eye on a sweet Bungie hoodie or bag, there’s never been a better time to buy than now since that money will go right to supporting a great cause."

Meanwhile, Metamoorephosis Games, an independent Chicago-based game developer has brought together a few friends who will donate proceeds from their iPhone App Store sales over on AppRelief.com. You can find a complete listing of participating apps there, in addition donation percentages and other info. If you've pondered buying "Hi, How Are You?," "Balloon Boy" or "iLikeCereal!!" now may be the time to download.
