The most memorable character in "StarCraft" is definitely Kerrigan, the powerful Ghost-turned-Zerg who takes control of the massive alien hive mind. And, predictably, she's making a comeback in "StarCraft 2." But not without a different voice.
Glynnis Talken, the original voice of Kerrigan, has been replaced by Tricia Helfer, known for her cylon role in "Battlestar Galactica." Helfer has already done a bunch of video game voice work, including roles in "Command & Conquer: Kane's Wrath" and the upcoming "Halo 3: ODST," to name a few.
During the "Lore" panel at BlizzCon 2009, Helfer admitted that she's a little intimidated by the fanfare, since she's not really well versed in video games. Here's hoping she turns Kerrigan into a cockney barmaid!
