After a prolonged media blackout, Rockstar Games is surprisingly close to releasing "Beaterator," its PSP-based beat-making game. Featuring the work of Timbaland, the game aims to capture the creation of studio-ready beats for a variety of different musical styles.
In today's press release, Timbaland seemed enthusiastic about the title: "'Beaterator' is like taking my music studio and turning it into a suite of tools anyone can use. We can’t wait to hear the beats people make and share with the world."
The game is set to launch on PSP and PSN on September 29th in the US. Europe will see the title a few days later, on October 2nd.
