Game Diary - March 30, 2009: My Wii Matters Again

Something bizarre has appeared in my apartment: a pile -- not one, but a pile -- of Wii games I want to play.

Back from GDC since taking the redeye flight that got me in Saturday morning, I suddenly find myself with the most unusual of things: a backlog of Wii games that I want to play.

I've got a partially-played "Deadly Creatures" to go through...

...and an almost-story-complete save file of the profane "House of the Dead: Overkill" which I can enjoy only in small doses...

...plus the farming/dating/dungeon-crawling "Rune Factory Frontier," which I'm putting low in my stack below some PS3 games but still intend to play...

...and that's to say nothing of Tracey having my copy of "MadWorld" ...

and me being suddenly very interested in the lunatic April racing game "Excitebots."

Oh, and there's "Mushroom Men" for me to start...

...and the unappreciated "Order Up" for me to return to.

What was that about Nintendo's console being a dust-collector?
