Playbeyond2_1 Sony's E3 ads tend to be a bit esoteric. I'm not sure what they're getting at with this one, but it just reminds of the console wars. Sony must be the rock. And with a $600 PS3, it must be a diamond.

Six. Friggin. Hundred. Dollars. Who the hell is going to be able to afford that? I dunno--maybe these consoles are packing in too much technology for their own good--now it's becoming out of reach for your typical kid.

Or struggling adult.

I'm currently having a financial crisis, so maybe it's just me. Maybe EVERYONE will want the motion-sensing controller and Blu-ray video so much they'll fork over half a month's rent without blinking an eye, but all I'm saying is MY EYES WILL BLINK.
